About

A smile on her face and a smile in her voice. That’s how one Bethany member describes Louise Luckey. Born Louise Ann Patterson on October 6, 1918, Mrs. Luckey championed education her entire life despite her own personal literacy struggles.
Many fondly recall her enviable work ethic–always busy and always willing to lend a hand. A humble person, Louise Luckey was not one to sing her own praises. She did, however, leave a legacy in the form of the Louise Ann Luckey Scholarship.
An indomitable spirit, a caring nature and a loving smile. That’s Louise Luckey.
